Halal Meals on Wheels - The goal of the Muslim Center’s Hunger Van Initiative was to begin delivering meals first on Christmas Eve 2020 and then beyond, to help combat hunger for the holidays and to ensure that the most vulnerable children, women, and men of Mercer County, NJ were able to enjoy hearty and nutritious meals. We acquired the van for $25,000 and raised the remaining $75,000 for food supplies to prepare meals, gasoline, a driver, and other related expenses for the entirety of a year.
