Dr. Hina Ghory has been on the board of the Muslim Center since the fall of 2022. She was instrumental in organizing the Muslim Center’s Free Clinic, by setting up the clinic’s electronic medical record system and getting the Free Clinic credentialed under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). She was also key in envisioning and setting up the role of a full-time social worker at the Muslim Center, and starting the Muslim Center’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She currently serves as a Credentialing Officer for the Free Clinic and is on the Social Work Advisory Team (SWAT). She is also Chair of the DEI committee and the Communications Committee at the Muslim Center.
Dr. Ghory has lived in West Windsor with her family since 2015. She is an emergency physician and Chair of the emergency department at the CareWell Health Medical Center in East Orange, NJ. She is the medical director of the Physician Assistant Program at the Fairleigh Dickinson University, and the Specialty Critical Care Transport Unit of Life Ride EMS. She is on the medical committee and DEI committee of Camp Nejeda, a camp which supports children with type 1 diabetes and volunteers there every summer as camp physician.
