Mission and Scope of the Group

The MCGP Professionals group aims to unify our community’s professionals to help advance careers, as well as benefit MCGP’s advancement and growth. The scope of this group involves:
  • Help foster professional relationships amongst mid-level and senior workers via networking events
  • Help foster informal relationships and informal mentoring via networking events
  • Help coach early professionals on ethical and effective ways to advance in our careers (networking, best practices, resume, the inner workings of recruiting and hiring
  • Help unpack different fields and jobs available (esp, nuance on types of roles, expectations, pathways)
